Josh Miccolo, IT Director
Josh Miccolo grew up in Nashua, a city on the southern border of New Hampshire, about an hour outside of Boston. Pursuing his dream of becoming an opera singer, he made his way to Ithaca College to major in Voice Performance. He quickly fell in love with the city of Ithaca and has since made it his home.
As an undergraduate student, Josh held several jobs ranging from facilities maintenance to working as a Fan Photo specialist at the Tampa Bay Rays Tropicana field. At the Ithaca College Music Tech Lab, Josh honed his IT skills helping fellow performing arts students create electronic portfolios of their work.
Josh spends much of his time practicing and learning what he can about singing, as he considers his future in music. He also enjoys playing sports and won't turn down a pick-up game of basketball or ultimate Frisbee.
Julie Nowlen, Advertising Director
Julie Nowlen landed in Ithaca in 2007 after living in State College, PA and Edmonton, AB. Originally from Wisconsin, Julie holds an undergraduate degree in psychology with a concentration in pre-med from University of Wisconsin. Several jobs and moves later, Julie's husband landed a position in the Natural Resources Department at Cornell and the family settled here in Ithaca. While buying their house in Fall Creek, Julie and Rich were impressed with the seller's agent, Carol Bushberg, and vice versa. In July 2011, Carol invited Julie to join the team of her growing business.
When not working for Carol, Julie also wears the hat of a lab technician at the Cornell Veterinary School and is a mom to Hannah and Cameron, who attend Fall Creek School. Conley, the noble yellow lab, loves to sit in the front window, keeping watch.
Julie and her family love the outdoors and enjoy any opportunity to hike, camp, fish, ski, or spend the day gardening. They are thrilled to have found a home in a place where so many great recreational opportunities exist. One of Julie's aspirations is to train for and compete in a triathlon.

Biography of Mary Heffner, Staff Writer and Editor
Mary Heffner joined the team at Carol Bushberg Real Estate in July, 2009 while on vacation from her regular job with the Ithaca City School District. When she is not writing ad copy for CBRE, Mary is the library clerk at the Lehman Alternative Community School, a democratically run middle and high school serving 305 students from grade 6 to 12. Prior to that, Mary worked in the library at Fall Creek Elementary School. Along with her husband Bill, a former Guidance Counselor now pursuing a career in college admissions, Mary has lived in Ithaca for since 1984, and raised her 2 children here. They also have a very fine dog called Pearl, and two cats to round out the family. She loves reading and would enjoy discussing good books with you when you stop in.
